APh ePower Assists Carat Media and Bingdian Air Conditioning by Ensuring the Source of Carbon Credits

The world has entered the era of carbon pricing, and major carbon emitters as well as small and medium enterprises are all facing the challenge of carbon reduction. When a company is assessing the purchase of carbon credits to offset corporate carbon emissions, it must ensure that it is purchasing "good carbon credits." APh ePower Co., Ltd. (APh ePower) assists companies in formulating clear reduction plans and carbon credit offset strategies. Recently, it worked with Carat Media Taiwan Ltd. and Bingdian Air Conditioning Co., Ltd. in becoming the industry's first to use scientific methods for carbon reduction and carbon offset. It publicly disclosed the source of carbon credits used for offsetting, so that companies will be more transparent in their path towards net zero emissions or participation in climate action to achieve environmental sustainability.

The generation of carbon credits must comply with "additionality" and not be a result of compulsory regulatory requirements, using natural forestation and technology-based reduction methods to provide real benefits for the environment and carbon reduction. APh ePower's expert team assists customers in assessing the benefits of carbon credit projects, and discloses the project ID numbers in a public and transparent way, so that the contents and authenticity of the projects can be verified. It also works with credible international organizations and institutions in planning the types and quantities of carbon credits. The carbon credits used for offsetting this time are nature-based carbon credits certified by the Gold Standard, and were generated by the GS3039 Australian Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Project, which planted trees and restored biodiversity to capture large amounts of CO₂, providing a high-quality and sustainable source of carbon credits for partnering companies.

Carbon credits play an important role in the trend of net zero emissions, and use market mechanisms to drive the development of reduction technologies and projects, while simultaneously providing employment opportunities, improving the quality of life in rural areas, and aligning with several of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Sean Su, Director of Corporate Development of APh ePower stressed that: "We do not encourage companies to invest funds in carbon credit trading as the only means for offsetting their carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality. Instead, companies should take action, use renewable energy, and implement energy conservation and carbon reduction measures to reduce carbon emissions, in order to make a substantial contribution to the Earth's sustainable development.

APh ePower has assisted many companies in participating in climate action, and is the world's first company to develop safe and fast charging aluminum-ion battery technology. It incorporates green electricity services into diverse energy solutions, and will continue to drive cross-sector innovation in the future, building long-term partnerships to become the best partner for companies to achieve ESG and net zero emission goals.
